ARCHITECTURAL TERMS AS LANGUAGE SINTHESIS
The article discusses the etymology of some architectural terms. Presented words are borrowings from Latin, Greek, French and German languages, which originate from countries architectural styles and trends. It tells the story of the transition terms and undergo changes. It addresses the issue of direct and indirect borrowing. Test words show that the change of words can be so cardinally, it's hard to keep track of what language and the word was borrowed for any value.
